NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A Jessamine County business owner says this is the second time in two weeks his store has been targeted.
The E-Z Mart and Deli on Ashgrove Road was broken into around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning.
Surveillance video shows three people driving up to the store, two people getting out, smashing a glass window to unlock a door, and stealing cash and tobacco products.
"It's devastating," said Chad Rayyan, owner of the EZ Mart and Deli. He couldn't say just yet how much this latest burglary was going to cost him.
"Both of them came in the store, and in a minute and 30 seconds, grab all the cigarettes and all the cash drawer," Rayyan said.
Two weeks ago, the store owner tells us thieves also broke into his store using a hammer, and cost him over $3,000 in damages and lost product.
The owner says he's offering a reward for any tips that lead police to an arrest in both break-ins.
So far, no arrests have been made in either burglary.
