Kentucky State Police plan extra patrols for Super Bowl Sunday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police say they have a game plan for keeping everyone safe on the roads during Super Bowl Sunday.

State police will increase patrols on the roads Sunday. as part of the "Fans Don't Let Fans Drive Drunk" program.

Police ask people watching the game away from home to have a designated driver, if they plan to drink.

Troopers say if you're hosting a party, don't serve alcohol after the third quarter and keep the numbers for cab companies handy.
