Kentucky fire station burns, second station in a week

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- For the second time this week, a fire has destroyed a Kentucky fire station.

Investigators say the South Hopkins fire department, in Hopkins County, burned to the ground Wednesday night.

There were five fire trucks inside the station and no one was injured.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.

On Tuesday, the Mount Eden volunteer fire department, in Spencer County, burned to the ground.
