SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky fugitive wanted for nearly two dozen charges, including attempted murder, is now in jail.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested Hubert Earl Dugger Tuesday night.
In June, 2014, the sheriff's office says Dugger was armed with a knife and club when he broke out the windows of car parked in the victim's driveway. When the victim heard the property being damaged, investigators say he armed himself with a wooden stick and hit Dugger, knocking him out.
The Pulaski County Grand Jury indicted Dugger on the attempted murder charge.
Dugger was arrested Tuesday night at a home in Ferguson, Kentucky on several outstanding warrants totaling 21 charges.
