Laurel County man fires a gun during a drunken fight

LAUREL CO, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is facing charges for firing a gun during a drunken fight in Laurel County.

The Sheriff's Office says 67-year-old Junior Cornett began arguing with a man, then claimed to be a police officer.

They say Cornett fired several shots toward the victim's home, where a woman and her 13-year-old daughter were staying.

Cornett is charged with wanton endangerment and impersonating a police officer.
