Lexington Police chase bull during rush hour

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A strange scene during the evening rush hour in Lexington. Police and animal control workers chased after a bull after it somehow got loose.

Police and animal control first tried to stop the bull over on Old Frankfort Pike, but it got away.

The bull made it over to Versailles Road where police say it charged at an officer and damaged a humane society truck.

The officer had minor injuries.

Eventually, police say they had to shoot the bull, and kill it for safety reasons.
