Lexington police say man assaulted woman who was holding infant

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police have arrested a man who they say violently shoved a woman while she was holding their 7-month-old child.

28-year-old Donnie Creech was arrested and charged with Violating an EPO, Assault and Wanton Endangerment after police were called out in reference to a domestic dispute.

According to the arrest citation Creech and his Amanda Miller got into a violent physical altercation while Miller was holding their infant.

The report states that Creech grabbed Miller by the throat and pushed her against a metal cage while she was holding the child, causing injury to her as she tried to avoid dropping the infant.

Creech is currently lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
