Lexington police search for group of men they say robbed teen, left him unconscious

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police are searching for a group of men they say knocked a teenager unconscious and stole his cell phone.

It happened around 9:30 Wednesday night. The 17-year-old told police he was on the walking trail off Squires Road near Buckhorn when three hispanic males came up to him. He says one of them was carrying a gun.

According to the victim, one of the men then hit him in the head with an unknown object, knocking him unconcious.

When he woke up the victim says his cell phone was missing.

Police have no suspects at this time.
