Man hit by car, critically injured in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - Emergency crews in Williamsburg tell us a man was hit by a car while he was crossing the street. It happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Fire officials tell us the 23-year-old man has been airlifted to UT Hospital in Knoxville with critical injuries. They say someone hit the man in front of Taco Bell at South 10th Street and Highway 92 West.

Officials with the Williamsburg Fire Department have not identified the victim. We're told the driver will not be charged.
