Man questioned in Lexington arson

Police found the man inside a home that had a "No Trespassing" sign. It was a few houses up from the scene of the fire.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators took one person in for questioning after a fire that damaged a home in Lexington.

Firefighters were called around 3:30 Thursday morning for a report of a structure fire on Ohio Street. When they arrived, they found fire in the attack. Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.

Details in a police report state that the fire was a result of arson.

While at the scene, police arrested Brandon Scott King. The say he ran from the area, near the scene of the fire, and went inside a home that had a "No Trespassing" sign. King is charged with criminal trespass. They say he was also wanted on a Failure To Appear charge. According to police, King is also under investigation for the arson. He has not been charged with that.
