A soldier's Hummer was stolen, after Laurel County deputies say two men forced their way into the man's home in an attempt to steal items.

It happened Thursday morning on Oneal Road, just west of London.

Deputies say the homeowner had taken his wife to work, and when he got home, he saw the two men wearing hoodies, piling up items in the living room.

The two men fled from the home, and took the victim's yellow Hummer. The homeowner, William Tuttle, fired his pistol at the car as it drove off. The H3 Hummer has a military tag, and military stickers on it.

Anyone with any information on this crime, the suspects, or the victim's yellow Hummer is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's Office at 606-878-6600, or 606-878-7000. They can remain anonymous.
