We have a gorgeous blast of early October air across central and eastern Kentucky. This will give us the potential for record lows tonight across much of the region. Lows will hit the upper 40s and low 50s.
The record low for Lexington is 51 degrees set back in 2004. That is likely to be broken. Temps by Thursday afternoon will top out in the middle 70s under mainly sunny skies.
Moisture returns by Friday with isolated showers and storms returning. That trend will take us into the upcoming weekend.
