CADIZ, Ky. (AP) - A western Kentucky man charged with murder in a Trigg County cold case has entered a not guilty plea.
The Kentucky New Era reports 28-year-old Seth Hooks entered the plea Wednesday in Trigg Circuit Court. He is also charged with robbery in the slaying of 64-year-old Harvey Choat, who was found dead in his Trigg County home on March 18, 2008 of multiple gunshot wounds.
Police arrested Hooks earlier this year in the killing after getting an anonymous tip in the case.
His next court date is set for Dec. 11.
