Pills stolen in Manchester pharmacy burglary

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - Police need your help finding two people they say broke into an Eastern Kentucky pharmacy and stole thousands of pills.

It happened early Thursday morning at a Rite-Aid in Manchester.

Police say the suspects cut phone lines before breaking in. They seemed to know where to move around, to avoid as many surveillance cameras as possible.

"They had gotten into the pharmacy and stolen several bottles of Xanax, Gabapentin, which is Neurontin, and Hydrocodone pills.They loaded it up in three garbage cans, Rite-Aid garbage cans that is marked Rite-Aid Pharmacy, and left the pharmacy with them," said Assistant Chief Patrick Robinson, of the Manchester Police Department.

Manchester police tell us they are working on a few leads in this case.
