Police investigate after shots fired into Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police are investigating after shots were fired into a home early Saturday morning.

According to police the call came in just after 7:30 for shots fired into a home on Ash Avenue.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found that one bullet had entered the home through a window and a second had ricocheted off the cement home.

They say the victim told them the man then ran down the street and got into what they believed was a black Camry.

Police say a man and a woman were inside the home at the time, but neither were injured.
