Police say man called 911 on himself after breaking into Lexington business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is accused of breaking into a Lexington business and then calling 911 from inside.

Police say the man threw a brick into the Redi Mart on New Circle Road early Friday morning.

Once inside, they say he drank a Gatorade and then went behind the counter to call police.

He's been charged with burglary.

Police say the man admitted that he was upset after a fight at home and wanted to go to jail.
