Police say suspect stole empty cash register from Lexington restaurant

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are searching for a thief who broke into a Lexington restaurant early Monday morning.

Lexington police say a man used a brick to break in to Le Deauville Restaurant on North Limestone.

The manager says the burglar stole the cash register. But the cash register was empty.

Police say the suspect may have gotten away with customer's credit cards left behind.
