PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Deputies in Pulaski County have arrested a man they say was involved in a three county crime spree.
Randall W. Lawless, 40, of Casey County was arrested early Saturday morning.
The arrest came after the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office had received information that Lawless was at a residence with a stolen vehicle.
When police arrived, Lawless fled from the scene in a pickup truck that had been reported stolen from Casey County on the previous day.
Lawless drove the truck into a field and got stuck in the mud before surrendering to deputies. He was taken into custody without incident.
Lawless is currently lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. He is facing charges of receiving stolen property and possesion of marijuana out of Pulaski County.
He is also facing several charges out of Casey County and is expected to be charged with fleeing and evading police during a pursuit on April 3rd which started in Lincoln County and ended in Pulaski county.
Lawless is also a suspect in several other vehicle thefts in Russell County, Casey County and Pulaski County.
All of those incidents remain under investigation and the charges are pending.
