Richmond woman faces charges after police chase

A woman faces a dozen charges after police say she led them on a wild chase through Richmond.

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) -- A woman faces a dozen charges after police say she led them on a wild chase through Richmond.

Police arrested Lynda Jones, 55.

Richmond Police say Tuesday night, she was driving in circles on the Eastern Bypass, but drove off when police tried to stop her. They say Jones even hit a car.

They say Jones continued through downtown Richmond at a high rate of speed, but she crashed at a roadway construction site.

Her charges include DUI, speeding, reckless driving, and wanton endangerment.
