Robber gets away in Lexington gas station hold-up

Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police hope surveillance video can provide clues into an early morning robbery.

A man robbed the Circle K on Buckhorn Drive. It happened just before 4:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say a man wearing a hoodie, and possibly a scarf over his face, walked in and told the clerk he had a gun. He demanded money from that clerk and then ran.

Police brought a K-9 out to help in the search for the robber, but they weren't able to track anyone down.

The clerk was the only person inside the store when the robbery happened, and he was not hurt. Police are hoping to get surveillance video from inside the store to help identify the suspect.
