Search continues for woman wanted in Rowan Co. car theft

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WKYT) - Police continue to search for a woman, they say, convinced a tow truck driver to tow a car that didn't belong to her.

Police are looking for Molly Litteral, 36. We're told the car belonged to another woman and had broken down on the side of the road.

According to police, Litteral convinced a tow truck driver that the 1999 Ford Escort belong to her and had it towed to a recycling center in Morehead to be sold for scrap.

The recycling center did crush the car.

The victim discovered the theft after someone went to retrieve the car for her and it wasn't there.
