Milder air continues to slowly push into the bluegrass state. This is a trend that will kick into high gear over the next couple of days as highs surge into the 50s.
Friday could feature a morning shower in the southeast, but most areas remain dry. Highs will be 50-55.
Saturday will see winds and clouds increasing throughout the day. Temps will be well into the 50s ahead of a weak cold front that drops in by Saturday night. That front may produce a shower into Sunday morning as slightly colder air sweeps in. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s.
Early next week should turn even milder with 60s a good bet for a day or two. This won't last long as a storm system works across the region by Wednesday and brings rain to snow. Old man winter isn't finished just yet.
