Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to rumble across central and eastern Kentucky. This action will continue into the overnight and into Tuesday. We continue to see an atmosphere loaded with moisture and these storms are creating torrential rains. This may cause additional high water issues for some.
A very strong cold front will move across the region Tuesday evening and will usher in another brand of fall air. Temps by Wednesday will be in the low 50s to start with middle 70s for afternoon highs. That same temp forecast looks to play out for Thursday and Friday.
A few storms will return by the weekend.
