The growing season ends tonight

It's another evening of mixed showers rolling across central and eastern Kentucky. This action will die down overnight and allow for our skies to clear. As that happens, temps will drop into the mid and upper 20s for many areas.

This will put an end to our growing season. Friday will see the sun returning as temps stay in the 40s for highs. That sets the stage for another cold night with lows in the 20s.

The weekend looks decent, but chilly. Highs will run in the low 50s Saturday and Sunday. There is another front that will bring a small shower chance in here early Sunday.

Next week's weather starts milder and ends on a cold and damp note.
