Thefts at Richmond sign company top $14,000

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are trying to track down the thieves who made off with some large loot.

Suspects took two big aluminum signs from Superior Sign Service on Berea Road in Richmond. The signs are estimated to be worth $14,500.

One of the signs belongs to Madison Trace Shopping Centre and another from Richmond Honda were grabbed during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The manager at the shop said they went out on a run and when they came back the signs were gone.

The company says their surveillance cameras didn't catch anything but they are hoping that a camera on a neighboring business did.
