Showers and thunderstorms will continue to fire up across the region over the next couple of days. This is shaping up to be a fairly active pattern through Thursday with rounds of storms moving through.
The storms through tonight are scattered, but can pack quite the punch with small hail and high winds possible. A greater risk for severe thunderstorms will be with us late Wednesday into Wednesday evening.
Damaging winds, isolated tornadoes and large hail will be possible during that time. The storms will continue into Wednesday night before diminishing to heavy rain by early Thursday.
That's when much colder air moves into the region. High temps for Thursday and Friday may struggle to get past the upper 50s and low 60s.
