As temps return to normal over the next few days, it's all eyes on a weekend blast of arctic air.
Readings on Wednesday will start in the 20s and hit the low 50s during the afternoon. This looks to be a pretty good day to get outside and enjoy. Things begin to go downhill after that as a storm system develops in the plains and works into the Great Lakes.
A few showers may move in as early as Thursday with highs back into the 50s. Friday looks windy and very wet with widespread showers. An arctic cold front dives in here Friday night and will deliver the coldest air of the young season for Saturday and Sunday.
Highs Saturday will be in the mid 30s with the potential for a few snow flurries. We may not get above freezing on Sunday. Gusty winds will make it feel even colder for the weekend.
