Much colder air continues to pour into central and eastern Kentucky. This shot of cold is being accompanied by snow showers and flurries that will carry us through the evening.
Gusty winds will slowly fade as temps continue to fall. Many areas will be in the teens by Thursday morning with wind chills approaching zero at times.
Sunny skies on Thursday will do little to warm us up. highs will only reach the mid and upper 30s across the region.
Friday looks much better with temps pushing close to 60 by the afternoon. Winds will ramp up under a mostly sunny sky.
The chance for a shower moves in for Saturday with highs in the low to middle 50s. This will set the stage for a storm system to impact our weather Sunday into Monday. That could bring rain and snow our way.
