Disciplinary hearing on LPD officer to move forward

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The city of Lexington plans to move forward on disciplinary hearings for a police officer charged with harassing a 13-year-old soccer referee.

Kieth Spears pleaded guilty to grabbing a teenager's arm during an argument at a Scott county soccer game in October.

Spears was put on unpaid leave after the incident, and filed for a disability pension in May.

The city will hold the hearings at the end of the month.
