Medical Center competing in Pink Glove Dance competition

Updated: 10/25/2012 - We all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Six Kentucky healthcare facilities hope pink gloves and their dancing abilities will help them win big in the fight against breast cancer. The winning organization receives a $10,000 donation to the breast cancer charity of their choice. Frankfort Regional Medical Center has chosen the Kentucky Pink Connection if they win.

Kentucky Pink Connection and its link to help others

Updated: 04/27/2012 - Friday morning the Lexington affiliate of Susan G. Komen handed out $300,000 in grant money to 13 groups who are working to fight breast cancer. It is an annual event and the money handed out is that raised right here in the community. One of the groups that received a grant helps link women diagnosed with breast cancer to vital resources when they need them most.
