Fayette County democrats will choose their nominee on Wednesday night for the state house seat held by Kathy Stein. She's running for the state senate.

Five candidates are up for consideration; attorneys Foster Ockerman, Junior and Alison Lundergan Grimes, media consultant Lamin Swann, Unitarian minister Kelly Flood and social worker Mike Finucane.

The choice will be made at Memorial Hall at UK. Republicans say they'll choose a nominee by Friday.
