Fayette County democrats have chosen Unitarian minister Kelly Flood as their nominee for State Representative in the 75th district.

Flood was picked over four other candidates.

The seat is opening up because Representative Kathy Stein is running for the state senate.

Republicans say they'll name a nominee before Friday's deadline.

Bye,Bye Kathy! Looks like a Republican win in the House and the Senate! Kathy is one of those Librel Politicians that does not listen to her constituents because SHE knows what is better for you than you do. She messed in the mess kit when she refused to listen to her district when it came to illegal immigration here in the State.......she sided with the illegal aliens over American/Kentucky citizens. Something I am sure her replacement on the Democratic side is willing to do as well. Remember this when you go to vote and vote Republican!
