2011 Releases
Sanctum - James Cameron is producing one of the upcoming movies of February 2011 that isn't exactly your normal Valentine's Day fare (there's not even an interplanetary love story here), however this 3D film about a group of explorers that get lost in a cave system would make a great date movie for adventurous types (especially the guys that don't want to shell out the big bucks to take their thrill-seeking Valentine's Day dates to amusement parks).
The Roommate - And here's one of the best 2011 Valentine's Day movies for dateless guys or a girl wanting to escape her crazy, dateless roommate whose Valentine's Day plans include crying alone while her dates Ben and Jerry try to console her. Last year's sexiest woman alive Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester will help make this movie about an obsessive and possessive roommate one of the sexiest of the year, but it looks a little bit thrilling and chilling as well.

Just Go with It - This will likely be one of the most popular Valentine's Day movies of 2011, being the only romcom released close to the holiday. Adam Sandler stars as a guy who pretends to be married in order to pick up chicks. His ploy works out perfectly until he meets the girl of his dreams (Brooklyn Decker) and takes his ruse way too far, convincing his office assistant (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife. Nicole Kidman also co-stars, so there's plenty of eye candy for the guys. However, they might want to be careful taking dates to this one; with a guy like Adam Sandler getting all these hot chicks, it looks like it's aiming to appeal to male fans more than female.
Gnomeo and Juliet - And here's one of the best upcoming Valentine's Day movies of February for moms and dads that can't get babysitters. It's a cute-looking animated flick featuring garden gnomes playing out a version of Romeo and Juliet (hopefully minus the ending). Sure it sounds silly, but at least it's kid-friendly and Valentine's Day-themed.
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never - Moms might not want to spend Valentine's Day watching the life story of Justin Bieber (in 3D!), but for preteen daughters without Valentine's Day dates, just be kind and buy them tickets.
The Eagle - This is one of the upcoming Valentine's Day movies that's got action for guys and eye candy for ladies as Channing Tatum portrays a Roman soldier on a quest to find out what happened to his father's missing Ninth Legion (it also looks like there's a bit of a bromance-turned-bad going on here in the trailer).
