Kentucky high school basketball scores from Thursday night:


The No. 15 University of Kentucky women’s basketball team begins its longest homestand of the season Friday when it starts a four-game stretch by playing host to Middle Tennessee at Memorial Coliseum.


After Kentucky's 87-63 victory over Valparaiso, UK senior Mychal Mulder credited the support of sophomore teammate Isaiah Briscoe.


Kentucky senior center Jon Toth was voted first-team All-Southeastern Conference, while sophomore linebacker Jordan Jones and sophomore safety Mike Edwards earned second-team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press, it was announced on Thursday.


Kentucky coach Mark Stoops and Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson spoke Thursday in Jacksonville, Florida. Their teams will play in the Taxslayer Bowl December 31.
