Davis, Murray earn NBA postseason honors

Just days removed from sending a new wave of players into the NBA, former Kentucky Wildcats are being honored as some of the best in the league. Anthony Davis added a second-team selection to the All-NBA Defensive Team to his growing list of awards in 2017, while Jamal Murray was a second-team honoree on the All-Rookie Team.

Several runners made history on Sunday in the USA Track and Field Outdoors Championships in the women’s 400 meter hurdles.

Kentucky freshman pitcher Zack Thompson was named Second-Team Freshman All-America by Baseball America, it was announced Monday.

Three former Wildcats are nominated for the inaugural NBA Awards on Monday night.
