Legends score four in the first, win 8-2

The Lexington Legends scored four runs in the first inning and never looked back on their way to an 8-2 win over the Columbia Fireflies in front of 8,123 fans at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Saturday night.

The UK football program held its annual Women’s Clinic on Saturday at Commonwealth Stadium and nearly 300 fans attended. The women heard from head coach Mark Stoops and his assistants on everything from recruiting to play formations.
