Reds rough up Cueto but fall to Giants 9-6

The Reds roughed up Johnny Cueto in his return to Great American Ball Park, but the San Francisco Giants rallied against Cincinnati's historically bad bullpen, riding Brandon Crawford's three-run homer to a 9-6 victory Monday night.

After the game was postponed on April 12, the No. 28 Kentucky baseball team will faceoff with in-state opponent Eastern Kentucky in a rescheduled game Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

Alabama has signed graduate transfer Corban Collins from Morehead State.

The Reds have put catcher Devin Mesoraco on the 15-day disabled list after an MRI detected a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

UK Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart discussed the upheaval in the Kentucky women's basketball program in an interview with WKYT Monday.
