Joker Phillips has picked up another verball football commitment. According to al.com, the Cats get a wide receiver from Mobile, Alabama. Here is the story:
Kentucky lost one receiver prospect from the Mobile area and, on Tuesday, the Wildcats picked another one up.
Davidson's Rashad Cunningham, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound speedster clocked with 4.4 speed, has committed to the Wildcats. A three-star prospect on Rivals.com who was ranked as the No. 17 prospect in Alabama on the Press-Register's Elite 18, Cunningham also had offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Memphis, UAB and South Alabama.
Former Williamson High and Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin, who now coaches receivers and recruits the Mobile area for Kentucky, had previously landed a commitment from Theodore wide-out Darien Thomas, but the 6-2, 200-pound Thomas changed his mind a few weeks ago and committed instead to Southern Miss.
Cunningham becomes the Wildcats' 19th commitment in the 2011 class.
