LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - An Elizabethtown woman has struck Bowling gold.
Thirty-year-old Jessica Haggerty rolled a 639 three-game series in the Special Olympics World Summer Games doubles competition to take home gold medal. Lorraine Grimm of Colorado was her partner.
Haggerty also won a silver medal in another bowling event.
The games, which are taking place in Shanghai, China, run through October 12th. There are more than seven-thousand athletes from one-hundred-69 countries competing.
