Brooks: Woodson Is A Heisman Candidate If Wildcats Keep Winning

Posted: Thu 11:04 AM, Oct 18, 2007

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky football coach Rich Brooks says he knows there's only one way for his quarterback to stay in the race for the Heisman trophy.

The coach says Andre Woodson will remain a contender as long as the Wildcats continue to win. The eighth-ranked Cats face Florida on Saturday at Commonwealth Stadium.

Woodson threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns in a triple-overtime win over, then-top-ranked, LSU last weekend.
