LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The University of Kentucky's men's basketball team is already banged up two weeks before its first exhibition game.

UK players Ramon Harris and Perry Stevenson have both suffered broken noses since the Wildcats began practicing last Friday.

The Wildcats have been practicing without guards Joe Crawford and Derrick Jasper and center Jared Carter, all three of whom underwent offseason surgery. While Gillispie is pleased with Crawford's progress from knee surgery last month, Jasper and Carter's bodies have been slower to respond.
