Micah Johnson To Undergo Arhtroscopic Surgery

UK Coach Rich Brooks said Sunday linebacker Micah Johnson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee and will miss Saturday's game with Mississippi State. Brooks said he was hopeful with an open date November 3rd, Johnson would miss only one game and return for the Cat's game at Vanderbilt November 10th.
Brooks also announced that backup quarterback Will Fidler will undergo surgery for a shoulder tear endning his season.
Brooks said running back Tony Dixon suffered a sprained ankle in Saturday's loss to Florida. Dixon's status for next weekend will not be known for at least another day.
Brooks said defensive tackle Ricky Lmupkin, who injured his hip in the Kent State game should return to action against Mississippi State.
