Mitchell's Debut A Good One, Cats Win 83 - 61

Four Wildcats scored in double figures led by Samantha Mahoney's 13 points as Kentucky cruised past Kentucky Wesleyan 83-61 at Memorial Coliseum Thursday night.
The game was the first of two exhibition games that opens the 2007-08 season. The cats will face Ohio Legends on Monday night. Admission is free and tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.

Victoria Dunlap scored 10 points and pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds in her Wildcat debut while Amani Franklin (11) and Carly Ormerod (10) rounded out the double-digit scorers.

Former Lexington Catholic star Chelsea Chowning finished with nine points, seven rebounds and a team-high four assists.
