Kentucky Women's Basketball Players Named All-SEC

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Two Kentucky women's basketball players have been named to the preseason All-Southeastern Conference team.

Seniors Sarah Elliott and Samantha Mahoney were named to the second team as selected by league coaches announced by the conference office Thursday.

Elliott, a 6-foot-6 center, needs 18 blocks to break Kentucky's record for blocks in a career.

The league coaches also picked Kentucky to finish sixth in the standings.
