MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - Morehead men's basketball coach Donnie Tyndall says he's looking at a four- or five-year rebuilding plan but he feels like the program is headed in the right direction in his second year.
The Eagles lost their top three scorers from last year's team but Tyndall believes that his team has enough improved returners and talented newcomers to be competitive again.
Junior college transfer Leon Buchanan is expected to make an immediate impact after averaging 17 points and almost six rebounds per game in his sophomore year.
Sophomore forward Maze Stallworth is the team's leading returning scorer after averaging just over seven points per game.
