UofL's Padgett Sidelined By Fractured Knee

Louisville coach Rick Pitino says center
David Padgett has a fractured right knee and will miss at least 10
weeks.
Padgett injured the knee late in the first half of Louisville's
84-53 win over Jackson State on Sunday. He was setting a pick at
the top of the key for a teammate when he appeared to bang knees
with a Jackson State player.
Pitino said initially the injury appeared to be a bruise.
Padgett had surgery on both knees following the 2005-06 season.
Padgett is a fifth-year senior and if he could not return this
season his college career would be over unless the NCAA granted a
sixth year of eligibility.
