Louisville football player arrested on assault charges

LOUISVILE, Ky. (AP) - A University of Louisville football player
has been arrested and charged with second-degree assault, stemming
from a fight at a party.
Louisville Metro Police say that running back Blayne Donnell
admits hitting a male numerous times.
Christopher Miller, 19, told The (Louisville) Courier-Journal
that he and Donnell fought at a party on Dec. 15, before Donnell
sought help from several other males. Miller sustained several
injuries including a broken jaw.
Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe says the issue will be
addressed internally by the program and they will monitor the
situation in the courts.
