The much-anticipated meeting between Boyle Co. officials and former UK coach Guy Morriss took place on Friday, but at an undisclosed location.

Morriss, who was fired after five years at Baylor, flew into Kentucky to meet with school administrators about their vacant head coaching position. Chris Pardue resigned following the 2007 season to become offensive coordinator at Campbellsville University.

Boyle Co. was hoping to have a press conference on Friday to announce the hiring of Morriss, but that now will not happen. Sources tell 27 SportsFirst that the coach has flown home to discuss the offer with his wife.

If Morriss accepts the position, an announcement from the school could come as early as next week.

Morris is said to also be mulling over offers from several college and NFL teams.

Morriss coached the Wildcats from 2001-02, before resigning to take over at Baylor.
