Sources tell WKYT that Rafael Little will need major knee following an injury he suffered in the Senior Bowl last week. Those sources wouldn’t specify which ligaments were damaged but said Little isn’t expected to be able to participate in the NFL Combine later this month.
Reports last week out of Mobile, AL, the site of the Senior Bowl indicated the former UK running back sprained an MCL in his left knee late in the second quarter. Little led UK in rushing last season with 1,037 yards on the ground in 10 games.
A message left for Little’s agent, Bill Johnson of ProFiles Sports, was not returned on Thursday.
