The Wildcats will once again have a shot at claiming the school’s 8th National Championship as Kentucky will open up the 2008 NCAA Tournament in Anaheim. Kentucky receiving an at-large bid and Billy Gillispie’s club the 11th seed in the South Region taking on 6th seeded Marquette at the Honda Center in Anaheim. If the Cats should win that contest, UK would play the winner between 3rd seeded Stanford and the #114 seed Cornell. Should the Cats capture those two contests, they would feed into the South Regions semi-finals in Houston.
