LEXINGTON, Ky. -- With the threat of inclement weather moving into the central Kentucky area, the No. 2 UK baseball team has postponed its mid-week matchup with state rival Morehead State to Wednesday, with a new first-pitch time tomorrow, set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
Kentucky (18-0, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) was originally scheduled to have the game on Tuesday, with a 4 p.m. ET first pitch, but with the threat of rainy conditions, the contest has been pushed to 6:30 p.m. ET Wednesday, when the weather will most likely be clear.
The game with Morehead State, originally set to be televised by the Big Blue Sports Network on FSN South throughout Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi, will now not be televised.
As a replacement game, the Big Blue Sports Network will pick up UK’s April 4 showdown with Mississippi State, with the start time moved from 6:30 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET on that Friday. The game will be televised on the entire FSN South region, reaching 12 million homes throughout the Southeast.
